playing with light and saturation...i might add more to this piece...as i don't seem to be satisfied with it. I wish i could place more mood, more emotion in it, give some central theme instead of "girl poses with canopy" hahaha
when i get in another "mood" perhaps i'll fix this up and make it more interesting.
Did you use a flash? That would be my one criticism. I'm not sure if it was just from the editing or the flash, but I try to avoid using a flash as often as possible. It tends to make the tones feel very flat, and washes out the subject.
And there's nothing really wrong with the whole canopy thing. Heck, I pulled that one for a good three months or so. Its a good way to learn angles and play with your facial expressions. Plus, if you have natural light, its a wonderful way to play around with that.
The one thing I do realllly like about this though, is your eyes. Your eyes are always very expressive without being to harsh, thats a good thing to be able to acomplish.
yes, i did use flash, but it was the editing brightness/contrast that made it a flatter picture, i was debating back and forth which one to use, the more color toned one, or this one, perhaps I should examine the other again...
If i don't use my flash, my picture is horribly blurry, because of my crazy shaky hands and the crap quality of my camera haha my mom just got a new camera that is very lovely, i need to play around with that

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
